Project details
The site of the Munster-Nord military training area has been used since the First World War both for military exercises and as a production site and testing ground for warfare agents. Together with the IFAH Institut für angewandte Hydrogeologie GbR (Institute for Applied Hydrogeology), BIG has been commissioned with the expert, planning and construction supervision tasks in connection with the clearance of explosive ordnance, the investigation and remediation of soil and groundwater contamination and the dismantling of the contaminated building fabric.
The main focus of our work is on the clearance of explosive ordnance and the area-wide soil investigation. Here it is particularly important to coordinate the exploratory work with the times when the site is used by the Bundeswehr and to be available as a central contact for the client.
